
Experiencing the Victoria Falls and Zambezi River
The Victoria Falls is known locally as Mosi oa Tunya, which means “the smoke that thunders.” You'll know why when you go and visit. The 1700 meter wide waterfall on the Zambezi River drops over a 100 meters in a roaring sound and with a spectacular spray that can be seen from 10 kilometer away. It is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and a must see when you are in Southern Africa.
